well i mean since it's the bigger tires wont he get less flex due to the fact that he has less room in the fender wells?

Owning a CJ is for manly men, they allows you to do manly stuff like auto mechanics and welding and drinking beer. Manly men own CJs. Manly men do not drive hummers, they receive them.

Your XJ looks great with the 33s on it. You probably need to trim a little bit more, but I would invest in some bumpstops. Even with 6.5" of lift they would still rub the fenders hard in my XJ. It was one of those things on my list that I never got around to.

Yeah that's on my list of things to do also. I'm really happy with the tires, they ride nice and give it a more aggressive stance. Is your TJ already lifted and so forth? What size tires are you running on that?

Yes, the TJ I bought has 3" lift springs and 33" BFG MTs under it. I'll try to take a pic sometime this week and provide all the stats.

Ok, so it already has 33s. good. Would have felt bad if I had taken tires you could have used.

Ok so I got up this morning and decided to be constructive. Or destructive depending on how you want to look at it. Regardless, I got up the courage to chop up my rear fenders and cleared an inch or so using the cut and fold method. Sanded them down taped thm off and hit them with a rattle can. I think they came out pretty nice.

Naa didnt do the fronts yet, I only have a saws all. It was shaking the fender around like a ragdoll, so I decided I'd wait till I at least found a jigsaw or an angle grinder. But I may find one tomorrow. ;)

Naa, I think the ATs will last longer, muds seem to "melt" away quickly. And from what everyone tells me the BFG ATs do fine on the CT state flowers, or  (Rocks). Probably easier on gas mileage also.
