My New Daily
« on: October 23, 2011, 03:14:06 AM »
Just thought I'd share some pictures of my new daily.  I couldn't be happier and I got a great deal.

2006 Tacoma TRD Sport
4.0 V6
6 Speed Manual

It lived most of its life in Florida, so basically rust free.  Runs and drives great.  Best of all, it easily fits the car seat and its not a van.

I did.  I am hoping I'll be able to use this to tow the Jeep on the longer trips once it is done and I can afford a trailer.

Truck is rated to tow 6500lbs and comes with provisions to plug a electric brake controller into the factory harness.  I may need an aluminum car hauler to do it depending on how heavy the Jeep clocks in once complete, but time will tell.  I am hoping I can get away with a 12 or 14 foot car hauler built light with an open deck.  I'll know more once it is done.

Buying a light aluminum trailor is a very smart idea.
