Congrats. I've been looking at them myself, but I just can't stomache a payment right now. I think once I have my wife's Liberty paid off it will be time for me to buy something, but I'll probably still buy older so that I don't feel bad when I put scratches and dents in it. Maybe an 02-05 Rubicon TJ. I like the idea of already having D44s and lockers so I only have to build upon the lift and body armor.

:o  OMG!  Was it that blue one at Falvey's?  Congrats!

What's your budget?  Just looking at 4wd.com there are a lot of lifts for the JK unlimited.  I like the 4.5" RE LA and the 5.5" RK LA.  Both fit 37's.

Pictures!!!

Congrats!!! The JK's will fit 35's right out the gate with a 2" lift so if you plan on 3 or 4, plan on 35's or 36's! Can't wait to see it!

I had a peterson's 4wd mag a while back & they got a bunch of donor JK's & tested different lift kits in all types of terrain & situations. They were all short arm kits. The tests were divided up in stages ( best on rocks, pavement, baja etc.) & each kit had a write up & grade for that portion of the tests, including strengths & weaknesses &/or if anything broke. Anyway long story short, the overall winner was a kit that retailed for over $2k, & the runner up was a 3" Black Diamond kit. It placed first in a couple categories, & the magazine basically stated that would be their choice for an all around best performance plus affordability. Other kits were a 3" Teraflex, Full Traction, Fabtec, Superlift & a couple more I can't remember. Quadratec sells the Black Diamond kit w/shocks for around $800 i believe.
