WTB Stock Cherokee suspension stuff
« on: July 28, 2009, 05:06:37 PM »
With the idea of trading my XJ in for the cash for clunkers program I don't want all of my suspension stuff to get crushed. Does anybody have some stock Cherokee suspension components laying around. I'm looking for coils and leafs primarily, but I could also use a stock track bar, control arms, tie-rod with ends and all of that. Keep an eye out for me.

Or maybe that rear axle with the locker... much better to give up a stock Dana 35 than a 8.25 with a locker... Especially if it is an even trade...

If I don't buy another Cherokee, yes. If I buy a newer Cherokee with under 100k miles I'll put all of my stuff right back on it.

No, I'll either reuse it if I buy another Cherokee or I'll sell it. You can't let a great bumper like that go to waste.

If I have time I'd be willing to swap axles with you for free. You just have to remember that my 8.25 is welded and not an autolocker so it can make tight corners and parking lots lots of fun and you get a lot of looks from people as you chirp-chirp-chirp into a spot.

what are you going to get?

I don't know yet. Here are a couple links to rigs I'm talking to people about back in Michigan right now.

i wish i had the money for your suspension cause i'd take it in a heart beat. but not only am i short on funds but also the shipping company has height restrictions for shipping and im sure i'd be over it. with 6.5 inches of lift.

But it would only be 4.5" of lift because I am taking the spacers, ahckles and drop brackets...

Your still way under it.  My buddies xj with 8 inches of lift and 35's still fits on a transporter.
