Tread Lightly
« on: April 15, 2011, 03:38:27 AM »
So today BlacXJeep, SlimJeeper, andrewnp and I all went on a quick trail ride to enjoy the nice day. To say to least the trail was a mess so we as good wheelers picked it up, just wanna say leave the trail better than you found it.

Also this made me think about adopt a road, well how bout adopt a public trail, any thoughts.

Oh yea had ice cream afterwords.

Funny story about trail cleanup... A couple of years ago, Axle, Rocket and I went up to Mass to one of our trails. We saw how nasty it was and even found a red wagon. So we filled the wagon up with all the garbage and took it off the trail. Since Rocket had the pickup, Axle put it in the bed of his truck. You would think... Just place it in and block the wheels.. But no. Instead it was flipped upside down so it wouldnt roll around and all of the trash was poured into Rockets bed. Moral of the story, we wound up picking up the trash twice, and scored a red wagon out of it.

Nate didn't want to be in the picture, he was too busy eatting his massive sundae.

Great time, and first real time on rocks.  Can't wait to hit some more places around here.
