Hello Everyone
« on: May 19, 2008, 04:50:43 PM »
Hi, my name is Roger and I am a Pfizer employee transfering from Ann Arbor, MI to Groton at the end of July. I was out in Groton looking for apartments this past week and met BayouGold from this board over at Bluff Point on Friday. He told me about your club and gave me an invitation card. I have been wheelin for several years here in Michigan. It started with a 94 Bronco that I put a 4" lift in and ran 33s. Then I went to a 86 CJ7 that I put a small lift in and ran 33s. I then sold it so I could buy another 86CJ7 that already had a D44 front to match the rear and had a custom 6 point cage already installed. I did a SOA with RE YJ springs and ran 35s on that with a Trac-Loc in the front and spool in the rear. I had to sell that when Pfizer announced the closing of the Ann Arbor facility. Now I drive an XJ with 6.5" of lift, rear locker and 33x12.5x15 BFG ATs since I know most of my driving will be on the roads for a while and I plan to drive that out to Connecticut later this summer.
I am on the Board of Trustees at 4given4x4 and also serve on the Land Use Committee for the GLFWDA. I look forward to meeting ya'll when I get moved out there and if anybody has any leads on a cheap apartment for 1 person let me know. I would like to stay right in Groton so I can ride my bike to work on nice days and not have to start the Jeep with the gas prices the way they are.

Roger
