try this;

it's an old post, but maybe??  the design is simple, and I like it.  It would not be hard to add a tow point.  it is similiar to what I have on the front and rear of my yj.  I love it!

for the same money you could probally buy some decent steel and have someone weld together a pretty decent fromt bumper.  there seems to be an aboundance of tuing floating around these days:

$615 at www.custom4x4fabrication.com That's where I'm getting my rear bumper from.

Any thoughts on that one? It looks a lot like the green one you wanted.

I was just looking at the $80 hooks as something to get me by till i found/funded the front end i wanted.

Beefy!  Definitely looks like it will keep your front end well protected, without sacrificing your approach angle.

Would you say worth the $615 though? cause if so, I'll just not buy temp hooks and add it on to my current order. Everything is Custom built so I wont have it till June anyway and it would save on shipping to do them both at once.

Go with your gut, not everyone's opinion.  It's your rig, you decide.  Personally, I think 600 bones is pretty high for an ARB lookalike.  Check out ARB's website, or even www.4wd.com or quadratec.  They look exactly the same, imo.  It is nice, though.  I would shop around, if you haven't already.

i'm not looking for your opinion as to what necissarily looks good on my car or to make up my mind for me, but rather like you did, "it's expensive and i've seen things that look the same else where and possibly cheaper."  ;) i figure you guys have been shopping and making wish lists longer than i have and maybe you've seen a site or two with some similar products. Thanks for the help though. I appreciate it.

For anyone who's going to upload photos, when I signed in, due to new security measures it requested the password be changed so I called rocket and he and I made the new one. He's going to post it in the members side so that you all can have it. Sorry.. on another note, when you're uploading, you can use the BULK uploader. it takes a few minutes to do like 68 photos instead of hours. I'm not sure about videos. working on it now. Enjoy all the shots/videos.

i personally wouldnt go with plate. i like the tube bumpers with winch mounts.

get the hooks for now. use grade 8 bolts. you just need front tow points.

and BTW, the definition of "worth it" really depends on when you need to use the protective armor and how much it protects and how much it doesn't.

my tire carrier (for instance) is worth the $150.00, to carry a tire, mount lights, and still give me plenty of room in the bed to haul gear.

but if i flop, i dont think it will survive too much damage because it is 1/8 steel.

i like the idea of d-ring style for security reasons
