Completely abandoning the world of horsepower, speed, low clearance cruising, and shiny chrome?  This marks a sad day in the life of Jon "hot-rod" R. :'( :'(

well,

Bessie and I had a good ride. hours of tinkering and tuning her up. but she has sat for quite a while, and now the rest is all body work and interior. estimated cost about 45,000k

just not in my pocket right now. she rides great and  >:( SHE DOES TOO HAVE HORSE POWER. but its high end. she is a highway hog.

she has touched 120 mph. (shhhhhhhhh)

but that about sums it up. the write up is on craigs list.

looking for 6500.

listed it for 7000.

never doubted that she had power.  but getting rid of her is giving up the joys of horsepower.  the taco could never compare w/o a serious heart transplant.  and you don't need gobs of power to wheel.

shame to see it go though... it's a nice ride if it ever finally got finished up.  maybe you should submit it to one of the abc channel "pimp my ride" type shows...

I'll submit you, make up somthing about how you saved my dog from drowning and/or freezing to death.

If we submit it to Overhauling, we will tell them how much you love wheeling, and they will probably make it 4wd for  you!  Or am i thinking of monster garage?  Either way, you will end up w/ a unique ride ;D

You could also submit it to Overhaulin', or Pimp My Ride, and see if they would do it up for charity.  Then at least you could see it finished before it was sold for a good cause.

On the other hand, you could put it on base across from the gas station and I bet it would go pretty quick.
