custom cage?

no it is a stock one only available in gheto fabbed throughly abused trail rigs

Why not solid B Pilar hoop?  Maybe its a personal preferance, but I have always liked the solid B hoop designs over the front to back design.

Way I see it, if you were going to take a hard roll it is more common to happen as a barrel roll vice end over.

two reasons

one i run alot of tight trails and have actually gotten hung up on my stock cage

and two not the best reason looks

and i am adding a lot more triangulation so all the forces on a barrel roll will be pushed to the opposit frame rail/corner of the cage according to the force diagrams no matter where the main impact is

I'm like that you tied your seat mounts into the cage.  Cage looks really nice.

i hope it preforms as good as it looks when we took the old roll bar out it sprung about 2-3" and there is no way that it will bolt to another jeep so i am now working on the sliders and they should be done by thursday

i got stuck cause of that bumper about 10 times to many the current bumper will bw getting cut down because when i modify the axle shafts, steering knuckles, install a 9" steering ram and waggy pitman arm for the 50 degree steering i will be into the bumper with the tires and i got to clearance the body for 42's yet

Well I figure it's time for my every 4-6 month Check in with one of the best clubs I have ever wheeled with so here is what I have been up to

Well I had a 73 dj 5c that got converted to 4x4 and semi built up for my brother so my brother decided to join the army so he sold it to a buddy of mine and I decided to rebuild again with a 4.3, 4l60E combo I have about $200 in the motor swap after I scrapped the s 10 and sold the old 232 six that was in the mail jeep

Now with my old Rig I decided to ditch the leaf springs for good and I am finishing up the front 4 link and full hydro swap

My upper Shock mount and steering reservoir mount

My new approach angle

Full bump height

Full flex

so I will update this when I get feeling good enough to go out to the garage and finish as I have been sick as a dog all week
