There used to be a 4cy TJ at Dean's, but that was a few months ago.  I am not sure when they switch from High to Low pinion, but it might be worth trying to find a TJ 2.5L D30 w/ high pinion.  I'll keep an eye out up here in the NH/ME area.  I don't have my XJ up here now, but I will in a few weeks.

so i checked into the tj dana 30s and it looks like the only front axle offered in the tj was the low pinion version. so it looks like for a direct bolt-on dana 30 hp with the bigger u joints im pretty much limited to a 96-99 xj dana 30.

have you tried calling M+J autoparts? The are out in colchester and a little pricey, but they may have what you are looking for. I got some used leafs out of a 99 xj from them

I have the exact oppsite problem, I have a D30 with 4.10 but I can't find a donor Explorer with 4.11's. I guess I'll end up with a junk yard unit!

yea that would be awesome. im not sure what all ur willing to get rid of but i actually need everything from the ball joints out. just to be sure is this a grand with a V8 with the dual piston calipers. Bc i believe those r the only ones with the dual piston calipers.
