Owning a CJ is for manly men, they allows you to do manly stuff like auto mechanics and welding and drinking beer. Manly men own CJs. Manly men do not drive hummers, they receive them.

I like it. Maybe I'll add that to everything else I want to do to my XJ. That, by far, would be the last thing on my list 8) though.

I like the looks of your buddie's XJ7. That's what I plan to do with my fenders. I want to trim them, but retain the stock flares.

at first i didn't think i'd like the tj flares but now i can't wait to get the front ones done. they look like aftermarket wide ones and this way i will have alot more flex when i get my lift.

i can't find the other pics of when it was done, but i'll keep looking.  he has a custom tube bumper on the front that makes the thing look sick.  but then when your certified for nuclear welding, i think you can fab just about anything.  he runs detours check em out...

I've been to their website before. They make some pretty cool stuff. before I put the bumper on my XJ I was looking at their backbone winch mount system.

i've had him do some work for me before.  i replaced all of the lower door moldings with diamond plate for looks and for strength.  my rockers were trash so i had him bend the plate to weld over the rockers and we did the door moldings for fun.
