It would be really cool if there was a place for us to meet and tailgate, but it would probably be almost impossible considering how much traffic and pedestrians are going to be all over. I'm hoping to be able to do a cruise from Paul's back to Groton with a few others. Then maybe we can all at least park close. Really hoping to get out on the trails this month. Lets keep our fingers crossed for Saturday.

It is hard to get close because of all the traffic.

One year I parked at the Skating Rink on the Groton side and walked to monument park.  Great view of the fireworks, and when they were done I walked back to the skating rink and with in 15 min I was on 95S headed home.

Back when I was at NSSC I knew the CO of the USCG station and I was able to take a boat down to the USCG station, right where the fire works are and saw them up close.  You could feel every explosion in your chest.  When they were done we jumped back on the boat and it dropped us off at the USCG Academy.  I wish I still had those contacts. :'(
