Does anyone know what the tread size is of the shifter knob? My fater-in-law is machining me a custom knob and needs to know the tread size.

i actually think it's metric. i put a universal b&m t-handle on my xj (same shifter) and had to tap it to a standard size. try like a 12x1.75, nuts are cheap anyways LOL
