yep, 74 miles on the clock now.

2008 Mazda Miata Power Retractable Hard-Top Grand Touring
Galaxy Grey Mica
Black leather interior
6 speed manual
Performance shocks package
Performance package 1 (includes LSD, and disableable traction control among other things)

So far, I'm loving it.

We were driving around looking at them a few weeks ago "just for fun" when we fell in love, so I balked at the ridiculous trade-in offer they made on Angela's '99 and decided to try putting it on craigslist instead.  It sold in 2 days for nearly twice what they wanted to give me trade-in.

There was a dealer in Durham that had the exact car we wanted, all the right options, and we didn't much care for the sales staff at the Mazda dealer here in Raleigh, so I started dealing with somebody over in Durham online, and we closed the deal yesterday.

Looks like a fun ride and good on gas, which is a big plus right now. I didn't know you were in the Raleigh/Durham area. I lived in Pittsboro,NC just outside of Chapel Hill for about 12 years after I got out of the Marine Corps. That is a great part of the country.
