Looking for 35s
« on: March 02, 2015, 11:45:52 PM »
Testing the waters and asking around for a set 35s (315s are fine too) , let me know if any of you have some or know someone who does and is wiling to sell!
If I come up short and end up buying a set new I've been looking at Pitbull Rockers recently, pricey but I like them. Feel free to chime in if you all feel strongly towards a brand.  ;D

Rockers don't perform well in the wet, when I went to the nova meeting with rock last summer there was a TJ Rubi on 35" rockers and a cj buggy on 42" Rockers. The trail was all sloppy mud and rocks. The TJ and the cj both struggled with clogging issues. The tj was struggling on things I was walking up. Maybe on a dry day they are ok but with mud and wetness on rocks, I'd Steer clear of the rockers.

P.S. I have 35's that I'm looking to trade for 33" A/T's if you know anybody.

The Rockers dont flex well on lighter Vehicles. You also want a C rated tire. Not E rated tires.

I'm running 33 inch duratracs that I'll be getting rid of for 35s. If you're interested in a straight trade. They're newer maybe 6k on them

I would be interested but idk if you want these, they are 35x10.5x15 boggers load range D. I actually ran them on my samurai for a while but the sami is way to light for load range d's. They are about 50% tread also. I know your duratraks are pretty new I wouldn't want you to give them up for something of lesser value.

As great as boggers are, I need at least a LITTLE road manners out of a tire haha.  For some reason I thought you had km2s,  maybe Im thinking of the xj. At some point I'm going to swap in the d44s I picked up a few weeks ago and with it I'm getting wheels and tires so the duratracs will be for sale in the next couple weeks if you'll still be in the market.

lol I have km'2s and boggers... the km2's go on the wheeling rig and the boggers are on my daily.... The km'2s are still pretty new so I'm trying to keep the street miles low on them even though the ride quality is a lot better with the km2's

km2's out perform boggers 37 times over, so of course I will try and salvage them as much as possible. Besides the boggers help me wake up in the morning... nothing like bias ply's to shake you up and get you ready for work.

Saw these this morning. You'd need 17" rims though.
