Had to hammer the front mounting bracket to the window straight to line up with the "new" window. One screw is screwing me cause it got bent at the head... Other than that, the bars seem fine. Havent tried the doors yet... Still too much other stuff to finish and hadnt even thought about doing that yet. Seeing as I dont run them unless it's the winter, it was kinda low on the priority list..

Looks really good Gary.  I'm glad to see your getting it back together.  When you think you'll have it done?

First coat of black went on today. Tomorrow will be coat 2. Debating clear or not as its only rattle can and can be redone for like 20 bucks. Looking like monday maybe between paint and airbags. Then an oil change should do it...

Can we start our Jeep Meetings with this??!

Jeep Creed

This is my Jeep, there are many like it.

My Jeep is my best friend. It is my life.

I must master it as I must master my life.

My Jeep, without me, is useless.

Without my Jeep, I am useless.

I must drive my Jeep true.

I must drive better than the Chevy who is trying to pass me.

I must out-drive him before he out-drives me. I will . . .

My Jeep and I know that what counts on this trail is not the
gas we burn, the noise of our exhaust, nor the smoke we make.

We know that it is the driving that counts. We will drive . . .

My Jeep is human, even as I, because it is my life.

Thus, I will learn it as a brother.

I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts,
its axles, its engine, and its quadratrack.

I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage.

I will keep my Jeep clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.

We will become part of each other. We will . . .

Before God I swear this creed.

My Jeep and I are the defenders of TREAD LIGHTLY.

We are the masters of the trail.

We are the saviors of my life.

So be it, until victory is AMC's and there are no other 4x4's, but Jeep!

The new business cards are in and I think these guys did a pretty good job delivering what I had asked for. They are basically the same info as the old ones, just dressed up a little bit for a more professional look. If you look at the screen from a side angle and look at the back of the card, you'll see the JT4x4 logo laying in the background on an angle from bottom left to top right. pretty cool stuff. I'll have them at the meeting for the club.

I went down to LIORs BBQ/RTI competition today. Nice turnout of rigs. The club wanted me to tell Ed and Mel hello. So hi Ed and Mel! Also, I ran the RTI. 1260 calculated off a 94" WB. As my buddy Mike put it:
Me: "So was I the high score?"
Mike: "I'm pretty sure you owned it."

1260 what MM, CM,  is that the distance you got up the ramp or the distance your tire got off the ground.  i don't articulate so i don't understand the lingo.  ???
