Is this the same as Scotts?  I'm thinking of offering the guy $300 (i figure the best way to learn to weld, is to get a welder and practice?  or should i just have one of y'all teach me on scotts?  suggestions?????)

I'd suggest playing with someone elses welder for at least a few hours before you pitch in headfirst and buy one

Wait a minute!  >:( My toy is strictly for JD! And yes, it is the same one I bought. Wire feed with the option for the gas already installed. Should come with the gauges and gas line too...
