Looks good, but fiberglass is scary to me.  It cracks alot easier then some other products.  The urethane flares I have hold up great.  I've folded them back on a tree almost all the way to the fender and they just popped back into place.  Fiberglass would just break.

I hate to take the wind out of your sails here, but it sucks their not made of something else.

Might try checking out something like these.

I have flexy flares from quadratec, they just aren't very good looking. I'd imagine these hold up a lot better than say Bushsmashers, or the shittybuilts. I'll have to find some reviews.

C'mon man, the cheaper the better on a trail rig, for flares atleast. cheap means it wont piss you off as much when you have to fork over the dough to repair or replace them.  J/k bout the mallcrawler. mallcrawlers don't attempt 4' deep river crossings.  you ever thought about grabbing some plate steal and some small diameter tubing and fabbing up up some armor/tube fenders?  you could make them wide enough to be legal(ish). It'd be a tough project, but probably well worth the effort.

Swag, I agree id prob never buy these, and have the cheapest crappiest fender flares on my rig trust me. But its nice to know for someone who wants to retgain the stock look but make room to cram 35s or whatever that these are availible. They look really clean. And yeah id love to do some skinned tube work to make flares, but I'm deploying in July so it doesn't make sense to fix anything that ain't broke on my rig before I leave. Especially since I'm planning a YJ project when I get home.

Thought it was a TJ project?

If I were you I'd look for a while when you get back till you can find a really nice and RUST FREE YJ.  Just wheel your XJ till then and be patient.

If your at all thinking about axle swaps using 4 link/3 links or long arms, just go YJ.  Cheaper to get the rig starting out.  Also, if your already going with links and coils anyways (or even coil overs), you'll be rebuilding the whole suspension on either one (TJ or YJ).  Why pay the extra cost a TJ will fetch when the only thing you'll bank is round headlights?

Finally, if your YJ doesn't like the idea of seeing coils and links under it, you can make that one ton swap a near bolt in experience with leafs set up SOA and new spring perches.  Ya, I know its more then that...

Oh, since I know this will spark a little debate...  I bought the TJ because it had the super charger, lol.  Also, I wasn't patient enought to wait on finding a decent YJ that wasn't way over priced.
