Hello,
I'm Sean and live in Gales Ferry.  I have a '07 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel.  This is my first Jeep and my first 4x4.  I bought it as a tow rig and something to get through the snow since I knew I was moving North.  I bought a diesel because I didn't want something that sucked down fuel.  I'm loving the 19 MPG average and 25 MPG on the highway it gets!
Other than an engine tune and some other small engine mods, my Jeep is stock.  I've heard a lot of good things about how well the Quadra-Drive II handles off-road, even stock, so I'm curious to try it out!

Hey guys wanted to re-introduce myself.  My names Josh and I joined the forum awhile back but havent really been active.  I recently sold my '72 CJ5 which wasn't really going to work for offroading and purchased a '93 YJ, it is a straight 6, has 4" lift and 3" body lift(which is about to get reduced to 1") and has 33's.  I live in Gales Ferry and look forward to meeting up soon.

Welcome back Josh. I was prepping things for the upcoming meeting and was wondering where you had gone to. There were a few of you that came to a meeting or two or a wheeling event and then disappeared.

Yea my '72 had manual brakes/steering and it just wasn't going to be up for offroading, plus it is one of the few cj5's I've seen with zero rust/rot and couldn't bring myself to beat it up too much along with the fact it was really only a summer toy.  So I sold it and bought a YJ that I'll be able to drive year round.  The YJ needs a few things done to it but overall it is rust/rot free(came from florida a few years ago) need to replace one wheel cylinder and the rear driveshaft ujoints.  Once that's done I should be good to go.

New to the forum, From Salem.  I have a project that has gotten out of control.  What started as a half ton Solid axle swap for my Ranger, has morphed into a full on buggy build.  Swapped the 1/2 tons for D60/D70 combo, then bought a set of 47" LTBs, so the 1tons got swapped for a set of steering rockwells, then decided I wanted a 4 seater so the frame and cab got scrapped and a Bent Fabrications Evo4 chassis took its place.  Ill make a better build thread later to cover it better but this was a quick run down.  Im going to try and make a meeting in the near future,  Cant make tomorrows since I'm on 2nd shift.  In the mean time my fiance has a 2014 JKU, maybe I can convince her to let me borrow it till the buggy is done, haha.
