Free Concert this Sunday
« on: September 02, 2009, 01:20:26 PM »
Hey everybody,

The US Coast guard band is playing a free concert at Fort Trumbull in New London this Sunday at 3PM.

Should be a CG helo rescue demonstration if all goes as planned before the show.

Good event for families to wind up the summer with The 1812 oversture and live artillery fire.

Bring a blanket, chairs, and food.

Sounds like someone is taking over public relations for the academy.

Nothing is better than listening to live cannon fire during the 1812 Overture.  To bad you won't have a russian quire to sing the vocal parts.
