LOL it was pretty amazing....wasn't actually that loud. I was more worried about the way they taped the house off last week, as an "asbestos hazard", then poofed it all up in a cloud of dust this afternoon.

How nice was that!? LOL

*grins* yeah we had a whole gaggle of kids sitting around on the rocks, watching the whole thing wide-eyed in awe...I think that cracked me up more then what was going on.....

Leave it up to military housing to keep life interesting LMAO  ;)

Well if the navy don't kill you with asbestos... the Black mold should do the trick.

No kidding. Just found out that a friend of mine's hubby just got discharged from the Navy with 100% disability for the mold he breathed in while living in housing....it's the ONLY thing listed on his discharge papers...

I think I would have rather had my lungs in tact.....$2200/m or not.

They are tearing up the concrete slabs now and it's friggin LOUD.

My back yard looks like a friggin war zone...and I pay good rent money to stare it in the face LMAO.

Ok, I am not seriously curious....can you guys see how small the amount of space between my house and the next street is?

Do you think they would dare build two brand new (new styles) houses right behind me? Sit them right down there in the middle of shanty town and what we have?

That might look....weird. Man will they be hated LOL. Green envy will reign supreme in my neighborhood, soon.

And I might have to just run my Jeep right through their back yard if they DO put the new houses there....you know...to make it all blend in LOL
