Wheelin' for Healin'
« on: April 28, 2008, 07:15:23 PM »
Saturday, May 3rd at Capitol Garage

Union, Ct. @ 0900

This coming weekend is the 5th annual Wheein' for Healin' event.  Your $75 (or more) donation will go to Windham Hospital.  This will be my first one, but other members have attended previous years and had a great time.  I've attached the info/sign up sheet.  Contact myself with any questions, or just contact Rudy at Capitol Garage on the flyer.  You can pay either by phone, or at the event.  There are 3 trails all within a few miles of Union.  EACH TRAIL HAS A 25 RIG MAXIMUM, SO EARLY REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO GUARANTEE YOUR SEAT ON THE TRAIL!!!  I signed up for trail B, the flyer says it's supposed to be pretty tough.   ;D

I hope we can get a few people (probies included, ofcourse) to represent JT4X4 at this charity run!  :)

No, not just jeeps.   ::)  I think it's titled that way because Capitol Garage is a Jeep dealership.  You should go if you can, J.

wow!!! this run is totally awesome. great turn outs.

there was 1 taco (me) and 1 yota (stich) and of course the turtle was representing all offroaders of the world.

and about 60 jeeps.

totally worth it as long as you dont break.

then you get the whole, "wouldn't break if you had a jeep", or "you could make it if you had a jeep" comments.

but it's all in fun and everyone is awesome.

but i pretty much had fun whoopiing up on the trails.

so, "The event is open to all Jeep owners and their friends and family." isn't excluding non-jeeps?

Personally, I have other commitments that day, or else I would consider going.  it sounds like a great time!

Reguardless of whatever the title says, it's a charity event.  That's the most important thing.  Toxic is going...  ;D

It sounded bitter.

Quite your bitching and just go. Use Toxic as a shield if you need to....
