Dont get me wrong... I agree 100% in doing a quality job the first time and pride in ones workmanship. It's just that sometimes it doesnt always work out and it's not always worth beating yourself up over it. When we cut the original fenders out, the grille shifted to the driver side. That's where my gap came from. Despite all the effort that went in to trying to fix it, (and even after a professional body shop had it after my accident), it is still off a little.. All I was saying was that sometimes, there's only so much you can do..

Either way, they look nice and I cant wait to see them in person!

well i got one fender done lol and the second is coming right along here are some pics

in primer
painted

i know the angle sucks but that is the angle i painted them at so i could reach the whole fender and have the least amount of over spray settle on the (i figured this out when putting the primmer on ) now i need to buff them and go and the bottom will be painted black along with the bottom 6" of the fender

also i was surfing the interweb looking for scallop designs for my uncles hot rod and found these and i am debaiting on putting somthing like these on the hood

Thoes are some sweet tube fenders & nice paint work. I can see your very meticulous about your work & theres nothing wrong with that. I too take great pride in all my work synce I am repairing cars every day. Hope you did not take it the wrong way about putting your focus on other thing besides bode lines. Thers nothing wrong with going the extra mile on your own Rig. Again great job & keep the pics comming on your progress. Hope to meet you on the trails or at a club meeting soon.
