New Handgun
« on: February 14, 2010, 10:30:05 PM »
Bought this from Hoffmans in newington. They have an indoor range & large selection of guns to rent if you're looking at one & want to try it first. If you don't have a CCW but are military you can use the range with just your military ID. For civilians, a friend with a ccw can sign for you but has to be there with you or a valid CT hunting liscense will do. I fired about 7 different  pistols, 2 revolvers & 5 semi auto's & decided on this one. Glock 36 .45. To purchase a handgun a CT ccw is required. They give you 30 minutes free range time with the purchase of a weapon. They also have a decent selection of used guns.

Very nice. I keep telling myself I'm going to get my CCW one of these days, but it will have to wait until after I finish school this summer. I have a couple pistols at the house in Michigan and have gone to a couple ranges out there a few times with them.
