i recieved a shut off notice from cl&p stating service interruption on the 7th. i paid the balance in full last friday. the account balance is $0, but they came out today and shut me off anyways. they will not send anyone out until tomorrow to turn service back on. i have a 10k watt generator i'm going to be wiring into my fuse panel when i get home. the 110 to run the lights is easy. but hooking up the 220 for my well pump is where i have questions. 110 runs 3 wires. black being hot, white being neutral and copper being the ground. when i go to wire the 220, do i just do wire the colors to match like 110?
