well believe it or not just did the first oil chang on my 99 tj since i bought. and wouldnt ya know even a simple task like that always turns into a project (i love my jeep ive had three of them but man are they the biggest pcs of junk "whispering softly so as my jeep will not here me") anyway went to put the oil fill cap back on and it wont tighten down threads on cap look fine dont seem yom be any in the valve cover. anyone know of a fix thanx.

my guess would be that the stopper tabs wore out. but other than that, i'd say see if the tabs on the cover are bent.

got to look at it in person, I have had to fix several of these damn jeep caps, all of them were different problems
Lets go see what I can break next
