Special Olympics CT Penguin Plunge
« on: February 10, 2014, 06:03:20 PM »

This Sunday, the 16th of February, at noon, my family and I will be diving into the frigid waters of New London's Ocean Beach.
This is truly an amazing cause that is very important to our family. It is a program that truly help a population that is far too often overlooked.
Here is a link to our Penguin Plunge Team- Brain Freeze.

A huge thanks to those that have already donated.
Thank you very much for the support. Every dollar helps.
I really hope I can count on more of you to donate to this truly worthy cause. And, after you donate, come on out Sunday and watch us freeze.

Crap. Due to the Saturday night storm, the plunge has been rescheduled for March 9th.

I was planning on trying to make it today, but my tractor broke while plowing so I had to rely on borrowing the neighbor's tractor, which delayed my clean up. I won't be in town that weekend so I guess I miss the plunge.

That sucks, Roger.  Wish you could attend and thanks for the generous donation! I wish it would not have been rescheduled.  Looks more fun in the snow and we actually paid to fly my son, Gage, up from NC to do this.  Now, we are gonna fly him up again for the March 9th Plunge. Cha-Ching. ::)
