  I have been troubleshooting electronics for a while now and think there is an outlying issue.

I think I may have it.  Check ALL of your grounding straps.  A guy here had a similar problem and found that a grounding strap had either corroded or had come undone and made it so that even when he just turned on his radio the engine would bog down.  I think you have a ground issue.

There is a ground from the negative terminal to the block and the block to the body.  Or sometimes the negative terminal is connected directly to the body.

i ran into some issues and have not looked at it so i got a lot of time to work now and i will be back on it soon first thing is i need to fix my leaky gas tank

i am on my second attempt at finding some one to buld a custom one this time i am getting it done by some one who i can trust me and i am paying to have the aluminum tank welded but i am doing all the cutting

why not just get a fuel cell?  already made and usually DOT approved, if not NHRA approved!

One thing you could try if ground isnt' an issue and it's not the CB is a 'noise' filter.  This would elimiate any RF signals transmitted to/from the radio and electrical system.  Have you tried wiring the radio directly to the battery?

i have thought about putting in a fuel cell decided not to because in the winter i run a hard top and it would be a PITA to have to open the back glass and tail gate to fill up with fuel and i won't smell gas all the time

and yes the cb was originally hooked up to the battery
