Gutter
« on: February 10, 2010, 01:18:51 AM »
So i read on nova that gutter may be closing soon we may need to look into that for schedule changes. The not so bad news is that i wasnt due to irresponsible wheeling they r just selling.

I haven't read much on it, but it sounds like it is a combination of some irresponsible wheelers, but also a change in hands of ownership of the property.

Yep, I just read over on NOVA that Gutter is officially closed. The Cowls, who own the property, weren't going to turn the property over for another two years, but some idiots went up there and screwed it all up so now the entire area is closed.

I thought the main trail was some old horse and buggy road and Massachusetts had to keep it open as some law.  With the power lines I would have guessed it was state property for the main trail and the off chutes were privately owned.  I guess I was wrong.
