Title: Wj project
Post by: zjchef25 on November 07, 2016, 11:35:30 PM
So today i started my newest of projects, my 02 wj v8 project jeep. I ordered my lift last week, rough country 4 inch, I'll have  (for now) a used set of 33s with 1.5 spacers.

Tonight I started the front end in leiu of the lift coming in tomorrow morning. It took less than 2 hours to removed everything, shocks, lower control arms, sway bar links and trac bar.

This is just after I got everything except the control arms off

Just awaiting my spacers for my crappy tires, and then I have to install the new pitman arm and rear shocks (lower bolts are seized) and get it aligned

Definitely keep the rear installed but disconnects for the front would be a plus

I didn't anything about the rear sway bars haha but you're right, I don't need them at all. I'm about to cut the rear lower bolts for the shocks and be done with it haha

****UPDATE***
So far the wj has come along quite well.. got the spacers in, mounted the tires and the spacers, she looks good rides good I think... I still have to do some trimming on the front fenders. I have limited turning radius l due to clearance issues.

Trimming done for now. The bumper has to go and I need to take in the fender more as well as take in the pinch seam down there
