Post by: rocket on September 17, 2008, 02:35:25 PM
It finally came!  the membership package for 4WD hardware.  For all  you jeepers out there, you get a 10% discount, AND the club gets a 3% kickback at the end of each year!!  You have to call in your order, it can't be placed online to get the discount.  Our account number is: 4979532.  If anyone hasn't gotten a packet, let me know and i'll email the club rep to get you on the list.

Should all of us have gotten something in the mail from them? If so, I haven't gotten anything yet...Could just be because they just finished the processing the entire club though..I'll give them a little bit...Sweet deal though!

I'm not a member yet here so I won't get the discount through you guys, but I've had this discount through 4given4x4 for about a year and a half now with our code. ;D

I'm still waiting... obviously it's going to be a little longer for the package to get to me. I have a list to order, providing that COMSUBHOMEFLT allows it.

By the way...  The account number Jeremy posted is HIS account number.  You get your own account number with your package that you receive.  I just found that out when I ordered my dual steering stabilizer.  They found my account number and gave it to me for future reference.  So, between the club discount, today's free shipping, and my $100 gift card, I just paid $12 for a dual steering stabilizer!   ;D

I don't know yet...  I just got the tools I need to do the ball joints today.  The steering stablizer will be here Wednesday.  So, new hubs, upper ball joints, adjustable lower ball joints, and track bar bushing...  That, combined with the dual stabilizer, had better do something, or Misty will hang me by my toe nails!   :o

By the way, the ball joint kit and adapters I got from OTC are top notch quality.  That's probably because they're made in the good ole US of A!  If anyone would like to replace their ball joints, let me know.  I went with MOOG joints.  I'm really looking forward to getting them swapped.  I just hope it works or I'll be severly P.O.'d!!!

And yes, before you ask or comment, Advance Auto and Autozone have ball joint kits for rent.  However, they do not have the Mopar adapters that you need, and their tools are Chinese garbage that will break or bend.  I researched quite a bit on this before I went anywhere with it.
