Title: Any wheelin this weekend?
Post by: calvynandhobbs on August 06, 2008, 06:34:13 PM
Now that I'm here and semi-settled in I'm looking for things to do this weekend. Is anybody planning any wheelin and need a passenger/spotter? I was talking to Footman this morning and he mentioned the private property ya'll play on, but since I'm not a member yet I don't think I can drive my rig back there so I can be a passenger/spotter/picture taker for anybody heading out.

I'd love to go if we can get a couple of rigs out there. I got left out of the early birds last weekend, so I am looking to go out. I am in an XJ, so I have room for a spotter/picture taker.

It looks like Sandbox is the only one in. Anybody else out there want to meet up so we can do a run?

Sat morning?  If my hitch comes in and it looks to provide at least a little protection, i might be in.  I'll keep you posted.  I don't really want to destroy anything prior to mohawk.

Keep me posted and let me know if you need a hand. I have nothing planned and without a garage at the place I'm staying I'm starting to get the shakes from not wrenching on stuff.  ;D

if you really want to come over to help w/ it, that would be cool.  It is an easy 20min bolt-on job, so don't expect a lot of work.  however, you can work on your rig at my place (tune-up, oil, whatever.  i did a yj lift kit in my garage, engine swap, etc.)

i'm out for today, sorry guys.  I don't really want to break anything this close to Mohawk.  Thanks Roger for helping me out w/ the hitch.  Its the nicest looking thing on my truck now! LOL

Not a problem. I have some classwork to do this morning anyway. I think I'm going to go for a bike ride over to Bluff Point this afternoon just to check it out.
