Well I just doomed a buddy of mine by finally convincing him to get rid of his mustang & get a jeep. So he is now the proud (and soon to be broke) owner of a '08 jk 2 door. What are friends for ;)

I saw it.  It still has the dealer tags on it!  Very nice, dark green.  He got the X model, though.  I don't know what rear axle the JK has, but tell him to take it back if it's a Dana 35!   ;D


Why hasn't he signed up on the forum, yet!?  He's behind the power curve!  ;D

it's got a 35. now the next trick is to get him to take it off pavement. he says the only mods he wants to do to it is a hood bra,side steps & hard top. :-\

those are not mods.  they are on pavement additions.

Sounds like its time to give somebody the bug...

I just looked on the Jeep website and even the lowest X package comes with a D44. Maybe his is different.  ???
