So it seems that my radiator has sprung a leak. It looks like its coming from the top weld(not near the cap) and dripping down on the fan throwing coolant everywhere. Where might I find a reasonably priced radiator?

http://www.extremeradiator.com/store/
good stuff, all metal, none of that plastic endcap crap like you usually find in replacements
-
A cheaper option is the radiator sealant stuff. It works pretty good. You can find it at any of the local auto parts stores.
-
radiator sealant is only a temporary fix untill you replace and it can also damage the water pump and coolant lines. I recomend replacing, but that is just my 2 cents.
-
push comes to shove (money too tight for a new one), you can sometimes solder the leak. My dad and I did it to the Beast (my 73 el camino) back in high school, and it has never leaked since (though i replaced it w/ a HUGE radiator when i put in the new engine)

bumper to bumper has the best deal locally. I have an old yj rad. sitting around, don't know if it would fit though.

STEVE!!!!
if you are going to wheel it, get a new one.....
dont want to over heat and have a patch fail on the trail...
we can help with that.

If you're strapped for cash you can take it to New London, on Broad St past the Goodyear shop is a Radiator shop. I had them braze the radiator in my old CJ several times. I would still recommend a new one, upgrade to a 3 or 4 core and elec fan while you're at it.

New one's in. Thanks guys!

-
Ummmm........... the one that they gave me at Bumper to Bumper.

but new is better than junk.
