I have seen these kinda threads on other forums and have decided to start one. So dont be lazy take some pictures and post um up and show off what u crafted up for ur rig.
Ill go first:
First of i took the old exhaust off and threw on duece's old flow master with no cat.

Then i hunted down the culprit to my leaky T-case.

It was the speedo o-ring.

scrubbed, cleaned, scuffed, taped-off, and wiped bed down w/ acetone in preps for Hurculiner (spent most of Sat doing that before going to Sailfest). Will try to finish tomorrow night.
-
Cool man lets see some pics when its all done.
-
I welded in my rear shock mount extensions, installed the second dever spring plate and new u-bolts & hooked up the emergency brake cables!
Pics will be added in the future!
-
is this all on the new project ur doing?
-
Drove to Virginia, ate BBQ, went to a children's museum, ate cheeseburgers, went to Bass Pro Shop, watched 8 episodes of Glee!!!
-
i was on duty yeah and told duece his front axle was not broke
-
I asked adam stupid questions about my axle
-
I went over to Ed's Saturday morning and welded in some plate for the trackbar on the axle side. While I was there and the welder was out he also welded in my front axle truss. Deathwobble is gone, but my Jeep is still loose. I really need to get all of the control arm bushings done soon, but it will have to wait until after Mohawk. Also replaced the sway bar disconnects.

All on the existing jeep!
I'm still in the "what should I do " process of the new project!!!!

Nothing got done of the YJ. I changed oil in the Liberty and tried to make sure that it will have no problems while I'm out at sea. While I was in the garage I put some of my tools away and installed new master cylinder covers and a new laydown style tail light on the Harley. I'm too lazy to post up pics. ;)

1st coat on! Waiting for it to dry.
-
its 10:30 and the first coat is still a little tacky, would probably need another hour. I'll just do it after work tomorrow; i have up to 24 hours to get the second coat on, so shouln't be a prob.
-
almost finished 8.8 and 4-link swap drivable just a few little things to finish!!!!!!!!!!!

-
cut and folded rear fenders, as well as lower quarter panel today. tomorrow ill throw the rear TJ flares on
-
Replaced both upper rear control arms with the ones Ed took off his Jeep. I can't see what is bent or misaligned, but my rear axle is shifted to the passenger side by about an inch. I need to tackle the bushings in the lower rear arms soon to see if that will help. I had to get the work done early since I went to the Jeff Dunham show last night at the Mohegan Sun.
-
the weekend before last I broke my jeep. Then Roger and Rock saved me and n Melinda from certain death by wobble.

last weekend I ground off the old paper thin control arm brackets, ground off the beefy ones on Rogers extra dana 30, cleaned them up painted them and Nate welded them on for me.
Then Me Nate and my buddy Cory did an alignment and adjusted the track bar. One side the axle was about and inch an a half forward of were it should have been. I also Threw in a new O2 sensor. Took it for a drive, still wobbling! WTH right? Turned out to be a bent wheel/very unbalanced tire.
-
Thank you to nates roommate and nate for selling me there bumper... its almost done and should be mounted this weekend. grinding all of the old welds and making it better stronger and and beefier with winch capabilities

my jeep the first time since april i have drove with a mostly complete rig over 60mph the inital test went very good concidering i did not ballance the tires and had no rear shocks i need a antiwrap bar (stupid UPS loosing my parts again) and to install the rear shocks and move the rear shackle hanger and then lower the jeep 2" minimum i would like 3" i don't like the fact i can clear 4d's and don't have the axles to handle them i need a front hp d60
-
I got my anti wrap bar built and started working on my exhaust i will be all 2.5 inch from the manafold back and it will wrap around the oil pan like a tj and dump out over top the frame right behind the passenger door i need to route it this way so i am not having to worry about melting any bushing for the anti wrap bar or the rear shocks and the flat skid makes it a pita to mount any normal sized muffler next to the tranny so i an looking for a small quite muffler that i can stuff in the small space that i have left
and the guy at napa now calls my Jeep frankenJeep

Going to test it out today!
