are these worth buying or should i fab my own out of angle iron

and what should i look for if i am buying a cb

I have an Uniden PC78 Elite I am willing to part with.  I am switching to a much older CB.  I am looking to get $50 for it.  Let me know.

If you like that look that's not a bad price for those. There are a lot of companies that make rocksliders so it's really a matter of what you like and what you don't like. Several of us are running the type that mount onto the body so that we don't loose ground clearance. Loosing a couple inches of ground clearance is really the only downside to those.

They are the exact same one I have.  I didn't like that they are designed to use self tapping bolts, so I drilled all the way through the frame and used grade 8 nuts/bolts/washers to attach mine.  I have bashed them pretty good and they have held up great.  I wish I could raise them up with the body lift, but besides that I like them a lot.
