Title: Demolition Derby
Post by: rocket on July 10, 2009, 02:37:19 PM
So last summer I worked the Demolition Derby at the Hebron Fair (as part of the FD) and saw how awesome it was.  I decided then I would look into doing it this year.  I recived the info packet yesterday and now I am in need of a sub-2700# car to destroy!  Anyone w/ a running beater that they want to part with for little or no $$?  I would also need a small pit crew, and possibly a vehicle trailer or tow dolly to borrow for the day (i can leave the dead vehilce there for the scrap yard to take).

Let me know if you have or know where i can get a car!

Just go to a Junkyard and tell them what you're looking for and he'll probably cough up a POS just perfect for it...Hell, they might even give it up if you paint their name and location all over it. It would be free advertising......LOL

I went to smack-tober fest at the WSB and almost all of the cars had the name of a junk yard on the car.  If you call around you might get lucky.  You know I have a car trailer, and you could tow a little car with my car trailer pretty easy with your truck.  I went all the way across the country towing my Jeep with my Honda Hawk in the bed of my little S-10.

As long as I am still around, and not at sea, I'll lend you hand.  I have turned a wrench or two.

DUDE!!! Trust me, most BMW's you don't even need to drop the tank... it's under the rear seat cushion... That's what I have over here and learned it with in the first month of having it!
