Title: WTB Stock Steering Stabilizer
Post by: kirksjeep on July 05, 2009, 05:23:41 AM
I know most of you TJ guys have upgraded your Steering Stabilzer and I could use one.  The one on my XJ has 195K miles, and it could stand to be replaced.  Let me know what you have and how much.

Kirk, I have a Skyjacker and a ES-2000 from Pro comp.  Either one will work.  The ES-2000 is closer to stock, as the Skyjacker one is heavy duty.  $20 for the ES and $40 for the Skyjacker.  I can bring it out to your place, as I would like to get out on the bike today.

I just checked the boards today.  If you would like to take a ride tomorrow (Monday) come on out.  The Pro-comp one will work just fine with my stock 225 tires.  I also would like to pick those stickers up from you.  If I don't catch up with you tomorrow I can meet up with you at work.  It will give me a reason to get out of the office for a few minutes.  Give me a call (numers in the contact info on the members side) if you head out this way.

I'll bring both.  How does 1300 work for you?

Steering Stabilizer is in.  I used the stock hard ware with a few mods.  The stock stabilizer was shot, leaking fluid and very little resistance.  Thanks Justin.  Since I didn't see you waliking down the street I guess you made it to the gas station.

Yeah, I had about half a gallon left when I filled up.  Thanks for the directions.  That was a nice ride home.
