is there anyway to block myspace and facebook and associated websites from the guest account on my computer but still access them from the main account??

13 year old stepdaughter. i don't believe that 13 year olds should be on social networking sights.

ah, yeah true..... idk u'd just have to google it or something.

if your main account is the administrator, then you should have full control to block sites on the guest... it should be under the user account page in the control panel.

i've been trying, but all i can find is site content manager through explorer. that will allow me to block them but it also requires a password to access almost every site without a rating.

try getting a porn filter (net nanny or ???). I think you would be able to add any site to the blocked list. There may be free ones out there. No clue on what is out there.

i'm getting a new home computer tuesday, i think i'm just going to have the computer shop show me.

If you have a firewall, you should be able to go through that. You can list specific sites to block.

i've been trying, but still no luck, if i try to block just a couple sites, then the entire content manager comes on, too bad there's no way to turn the site nanny off.
