Title: hitch hook

i have a "hidden hitch" i need a hitch mounted tow hook for it... any help as so to not buy retail would be great... :P

Those are hard to find used and really aren't that expensive at Tractor Supply Co and maybe a couple hardware stores around this area. They are overpriced to buy online from 4x4 stores though. You may find a deal on ebay or you could even post a wanted ad on the Craigslist.

i think i paid about 20 for my last one at napa, but instead of the hook, just use the regular ball reciever with no ball on it and slip a d-ring through the hole, works even better.

Tsunami- I have an extra 2" tongue with a ball on it I'll part with for whatever you can afford..

The basic receiver w/ d-ring is the cheapest way.  I picked up a hook receiver from harbour freight for $15 on sale a while back.  I think it is rated for 5 ton if I remember right.
