Anybody planning on hanging around at the Mustang show in the parking lot of Autozone on Saturday? I think I'm going to do homework early in the morning and take a drive up there for a break. I won't be in my XJ though. I have my motor on my bicycle now and rode it to work today. As long as the weather is nice I'll be riding that as often as I can.

I think it's supposed to rain today.

i was wrong, it ended up being a really nice day. Took the kids to dinosaur state park in rocky hill. my 2 year old loved it.

I rode my bike down there and met Scott. We also talked to a couple other guys that might come visit our board. I left there and rode my bike down to Dairy Queen and got some icecream before riding back home. It was a really nice day today.

This is what my bicycle looks like. I had a lot of people asking me questions about it while at the Mustang show and while I was in front of the Dairy Queen.

i was at the mustang show... met you guys, the bike is great, i definitely want to join up with you guys so any info as to how and who to talk to would be great

It's actually 65cc, but because it doesn't have a CVT like typical mopeds it's not as fast as a 50cc moped. The power band is rather small so it starts slow and tops out at bout 30mph.

Roger that came out awsome. I can see why everyone was checking it out. It kind of looks like an old school flat track racer.

How exactly does that thing work roger? are the pedals for looks?

It's a 65cc 2-stroke motor. The tank holds about 1/2 gallon so I should be able to go about 50 miles between fillups. The pedals are not just for looks. The motor has a centifugal clutch, but isn't strong enough to start from a dead stop so you take a dozen pedals or so then let out the clutch to start the engine. From there you just let the engine take over and you don't need to pedal anymore. Once it is started and idling you only have to take 3-4 pedals before releasing the clutch handle from a stop and the engine will take over.
