I saw some guys on another forum running 4" short arm lifts w/ 1" bl & 36" iroks on their tj's. guys in washington. a couple had tube fenders but the others had stock.
opinions.... ::)

With the right bump stops and wheel back spacing, sure.  I recommend 3.75" backspacing if you use a 15X10 rim.  However, I would highly recommend putting chromoly shafts in the dana 30 if you plan on putting that Aussie in it and 36's.

def beef the shafts. iroks have a lot of traction/grip. often, too much (traction) for axles of the housings if you're running stock.

I'd say spend some loot on some TnT front and rear tubes, some alloys and go with the 36's!!!!!!!  Yeah baby!!!!

I'm pretty sure that the stock D30 is good up to 37's, but I would definately upgrade the shafts before trying bigger than 33's.
