8.8's are 150 from the boneyard. all brackets from jeep ready to be welded on are like 300. welding costs about a 30 pack most of the time. cheaper to BUILD YOUR OWN!!

add brakes, because a $150 axle isn't going to have decent brakes, I know I checked. You still need the passenger side brake line, and bend up some hard line. So you were at $450 before the cost of brakes and lines, and you still need to do all the grinding, welding and painting. $600 sounds like a good deal for a bolt on axle. Just my 2 cents.

I agree that $600 for a bolt in set up is a good deal, especially if it has all new components and at least the stock LS. I spent I don't even know how much building my 8.8, and spent the whole winter doing it with help from Scott and a few other members.
