Title: Construction Help Wanted
Post by: rocket on December 10, 2008, 02:39:45 AM
Seaport Community Church is doing a living nativity this year.  I've taken charge of construction of the sets  Once I finalize the plans and get a budget, I'll be looking for help with construction.  I'm also looking for framing and brad nailers, jig-saw, and maybe an air paint sprayer.  I'll keep everyone posted on when the work will be going down.

Just let me know when you get some times. I will only be in Connecticut until the 18th and then won't be back until January 4th.

inital construction will probably take place in my garage (heated, covered) due to weather.  I've drawn up schematics and am just waiting for a budget ($$).  I'll post the times for work, and if you can make it, GREAT!

With the power outage today, class was cancelled, and now I have a test on Monday, so I need to study this weekend.  If I can't help, I can lend a air powered framing nailer and a finish nailer.  Let me know if you still need some.

I'm hitting Home Depot first thing in the morning, and could use help loading/unloading the lumber (30 2x4s, 5 sheets plywood, fastners, stain, etc), and inital construction.  It will be in my garage (heated).  I could use a framing nailer and jigsaw/sawsall if someone can lend.  feel free to call me: 808-554-8859

Update: All major construction is complete.  I just have to add some braces to streangthen the roof (since it is in two peices, I don't want it to break during transport or assembly.  Tomorrow morning I will finish all construction (I have to hit HD again for more supplies and to return stuff I don't need)  If someone is availve tomorrow during the day I could use help with staining and some prop construction.  I plan on moving everything over thrusday as early as possible.  I want to assemble the manger to ensure there are no problems.

If any one can help tomorrrow at any point till 6pm or anytime thursday, call/text me @ 808-554-8859.  I would like to at least get most of the staining done tomorrow, if possible.
