Title: old but new...
Post by: WillC on November 19, 2008, 07:48:27 PM
New to the forum and wanted to say hey, My name is Bill I live across the river in New London and spend most of my time working on, around or under sailboats....  I have owned a few 4x4s over the years but have not done any serious wheeling in about ten years. So I guess it is time to build up another rig and get back onto the trails. 07 Jk Rubicon stock for now, bumpers are on order, next ???.  I'll have to get together with you all soon, cruise, meeting, wheeling.   Cheers, WillC

Welcome to the forum! Definately bring that Rubi out with us!  A 3" lift will allow more than enough room for 35" tires on the JK's!

Thank you for the warm welcome.....

A 3-4 inch lift and 35" tires is down the road a bit, after the bumpers go on I was thinking skid plates and helping the motor breath a bit better.
Do you guys think that the stock bumpers and fender flairs have any value?
Any one going wheeling this Sunday or next Thursday (Thanksgiving) Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

We have a regional event coming up soon.  We should have some details to post mid next week.
