-
Meineke right on route 12 up the road from the base might be able to get you hooked right up.

do you think they could make a custom x pipe?
-
I would ask them, you never can tell.
-
I have never used them, but I have heard Karns near the sub base does custom exhaust work.

yea i saw they had a sign saying they do custom work, i think I'm going to stop by stop time this week and ask about it
-
I forgot about him, but yes he does really good work!

I may have to see them in the spring. I need exhaust work on the F250 this spring. Holes in the muffler and tailpipe. I've already bought a kit to reconstruct the down pipe to a y rather than a t. If I get more proficient with my welding I may try doing it myself. We'll see.

If I was going to get custom exhaust I would go to Karnes. They just did a drivers side Cat Assembly for a buddy of mines JK for a reasonable price and did it in a timely manner.
-
I'm definitely going to earns, i stopped by and talked today and they can do exactly what i want for a lot cheaper than i expected

Looks like my exhaust work needs to come sooner verses later. I took South Rd home yesterday and after I hit a bump I heard metal dragging. Pulled off the side of the road and my exhaust was dragging behind the F250. Got it home and now everything is removed from behind the muffler.

next question is what do you guys recommend for mufflers? i was trying to decide between moroso and dynomax race bullet, I've crossed out morose because i think it might be a little too loud above idle. now I'm trying to wonder between dynomax and magna flow race mufflers. magna flow does have a lifetime warranty which is something i definitely like to hear in a product. is anyone around here running one or the other? id love to to hear it in person

I can't help you with that, I'm straight pipe, no cat into a cherrybomb.
-
I'm interested to see what people think also. My truck has a Flowmaster 50 series single muffler on it now. I'm pretty sure the muffler is shot and am debating if I continue with a single or if I go to duals.
In the next week or two I'll stop by Karns and I'll ask him what he thinks. I had to look up the Dynomax race bullet mufflers and I like the sound clips that I could find.
-
For most of us 4.0 i6 guys it doesn't mater what muffler you put on they all sound the same. I find whatever Is small and can make fit haha. I smash it up anyways

What ever you do. Make it quite because drawing attention off road is not good. Also if it's not a V8 then keep it quiet cuz it sounds like shit

its a v8, and I'm going to try and make it quiet enough to not be annoying

I can't remember what Flowmaster series is wrapped with diamond plate, but I beat the crap out of it and it never dented, just a few scratches.
