Title: smoke/ elctrical burning smell

located it just dont know why it would be happening I noticed the smell on my way home checked for location when I got there and it had smoke coming from the passenger front wheel around the brakes any ideas

Had the exact same problem, on the exact same wheel. Grease from wheel bearings that dripped on the rotor and the rim.  Smoked and made the brakes pull a little. Turns out the caliper was dragging, causing the rotor and bearings to get very hot.  Inside and outside pads worn very unevenly. Replaced both calipers and no new problem.

ya thought it might come down to calipers thanks for the info
