this is actuallt tempting. I have three binders at home and most of the parts would cross over. if i only had more room up here
-
i told you i would rent out some space for a little electrical work, heehee.
-
the club should rent a garage/storage unit, and we should all get to use it as part of our dues. :)

unless you have space for three fullsize ihc trucks.... i don't think it's going to work out. although i do need a place for a couple fenders, hood, gasstank (the part not the person) and misc other yj parts ;)
-
then dues needs to go up in price. or have secondary dues for the garage

like a wet dream.... good until you wake up.

skeet skeet

honestly though al, how much does a smaller one go for? has to have electricty.
-
I was looking at them a little while ago, the ones that have full working electricity, that you're allowed to use as a working garage are hard to find, and don't usually list prices online, you usually have to call, but you can get ones that are large enough to fit a car in, with lights and heat for around $70/mo

no thanks. i've got plenty of room. you can always go in w/ someone to share a shed.
-
i like Cheeks and Rockets garage so far.
but we could pay for food/beer while we work.
-
I think it was a 10x20 ... but now I can't remember where it was ... it was quite a bit cheaper than most of the others around here, I think I've got it bookmarked at work
-
there's a place in Griswold that has "contractor" units that are 11x35, but they don't list a price online
-
well take a vote after taxe season. see where peeps set with finances
-
I was mostly joking, I can't see how the club could possibly do it.
But if anybody was interested in finding out more about one of those much larger units, which could be used for both storage and also working on vehicles, I would be interested in going in with 1 or 2 other people on one.

that is what i was thinking. having one open to the whole club would be maddness!
-
I just need a place for spare parts leke engine, tranny, fenders, hood, doors, top, axle... I also have a lot of shop tools I'd like to be able to use again.
-
My place is always open for wrenching.
Not realy open for storage, w/ one exception: if you plan on wrenching here, you can leave tools here (to an extent). I don't have unlimited room since i use it to park/wrench on two vehicles. PM me if you need short term storage of a limited number of stuff.

the short of it is that I NEED A SHOP
i am sick and tired of half-assing my projects under the carport!
