as i was running thru the jeep trying to find that damned "small vacuum leak" as advertised by the OBDII read-out, i discovered that my pinion seal on my dana 35 is leaking.
so it looks like i have some wrenching to do.
the problem is, my back isnt what it used to be. im taking medication to manage the pain, but in the 2 years i have been laid up, im not as strong as i once was.
probably next weekend i will be tackling this. if anyone wants to hang out or lend a hand, i wouldnt turn you away:)
more details to follow as we get closer to the weekend.

Ill see whats going on. If I dont make it let me know how it goes cause Im going to have to replace both front and rear seals this summer.

I might be free, sat evening and sunday, got to check

if the hobby shop is free, that's the best and safest thing to do.

update. i got to thinking, while im in there it might be a good idea to replace a few other parts such as the bearings and other 2 seals.(i noticed a bit leakinig out the passenger side one as well)
the bearings are the originals as far as i know. 90k miles.
i mean while im in there it wouldnt hurt right?
so with all this, the project has been pushed back a bit.
again more to follow. and thanks for all the replies.
