I changed my mind.  I'm sure I'll change it again.  :-\

A 44 out of a 88 wagoneer.   ;D

I'm trading my old tires for a matching f/r set of 44's.  I'll either resell the rear, or give it to Pete to do the work.

I don't know if I'm going through with it now, or not.  If I do pick it up this weekend, I'll sell it for $250.  The more I look into doing this swap, the more expensive and complex it gets.  I have to cut off the old brackets, spend $400 on a new bracket set, plus gears and a locker.  The real problem is the bolt pattern.  It's a 6 bolt pattern, instead of 5.  There are a couple of ways to bring it to either 5 on 5.5, or 5 on 4.5.  I'm still doing research on it, but it's not looking like it's worth the trouble and money so far.  Hopefully I will know more tomorrow.

Just
Empty
Every
Pocket

You know this man!!!

Matching set of 44's traded for a set of tires you aren't using anymore, sounds like a good deal to me, even if you don't do anything with them right away, it's worth it. Take your time and build it over the winter...Install next spring...

I thought about doing that, but I'd rather take the cash for the tires.

I've got a guy interested in the tires for $400.  If he gives me an answer before Friday, then I'll probably sell them to him.  If not, then I'll probably go pick up the axle's.
